2. Mentor Sessions
2.1 Cancellation by User
- More than 24 hours before session: Full refund (100%)
- 12-24 hours before session: 75% refund
- 6-12 hours before session: 50% refund
- Less than 6 hours before session: No refund
2.2 Cancellation by Mentor
If a mentor cancels a session, you will receive a full refund (100%) or the option to reschedule at no additional cost. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by mentor cancellations.
2.3 No-Shows
- User no-show: No refund will be provided
- Mentor no-show: Full refund or free rescheduling
2.4 Technical Issues
If a session cannot be completed due to technical issues on our platform, you will receive a full refund or free rescheduling. Please report technical issues within 24 hours of the scheduled session.
3. Programs and Courses
3.1 Program Cancellation
- Before program start: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
- Within first 7 days: 75% refund (if less than 20% content accessed)
- After 7 days: No refund, but program access continues until completion
3.2 Program Cancellation by Provider
If a program is cancelled by the provider, you will receive a full refund (100%) within 7-10 business days.
3.3 Non-Refundable Items
- Programs marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase
- Promotional or discounted programs (unless cancelled by provider)
- Programs where more than 20% content has been accessed
4. Subscription Plans
4.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Cancel anytime before the next billing cycle
- Access continues until the end of the current billing period
- No partial refunds for unused days
4.2 Annual Subscriptions
- Within 14 days: Full refund (if minimal usage)
- After 14 days: Pro-rated refund for remaining months minus 10% early termination fee
5. Event Registrations
- More than 7 days before event: Full refund minus processing fee
- 3-7 days before event: 50% refund
- Less than 3 days before event: No refund
- Event cancelled by organizer: Full refund (100%)
Free events do not require refunds, but cancellation notifications are appreciated.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Log in to your Shikshart account
- Go to your Purchase History or Bookings section
- Select the item you wish to refund
- Click "Request Refund" and provide a reason
- Submit your request

7. Refund Processing
- Refund requests are typically reviewed within 2-3 business days
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method
- Bank processing may take an additional 5-10 business days
You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
8. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your refund request, you may escalate the matter by emailing connect@shikshart.comwith "Refund Dispute" in the subject line. Our team will review your case within 5 business days.
